Our policy for photographic and written submissions to Cal-Country Magazine is as follows:

Upon receipt, all photographs and all written submissions of articles, profiles and reviews (your Work) become the property of Cal-Country Magazine.  Cal-Country Magazine reserves the right to edit these submissions for grammar, clarity, style and space, and does not guarantee that they will be published, either in part or in their entirety.  Every effort will be made to contact the writer when substantive revisions are necessary.  Cal-Country Magazine does not have the resources to pay contributors.  The publication is distributed free of charge and does not generate any income from sales of said publication.  Please include your first and last name, daytime telephone number, and any available fax number with your submission.  Due to the volume of submissions, you may not expect acknowledgment of receipt by Cal-Country Magazine.

By submitting your Work to Cal-Country Magazine, you warrant that the Work is original with you, that it is not subject to any existing copyright and that you have authority to grant the rights to said Work; that its publication will not libel anyone or infringe on or invade the rights of others; that you have full power to agree to this warranty; and that the Work has not been published elsewhere in whole or in part.  Should the Work contain any material which requires written permission for inclusion in the Work, you agree to obtain such permission from the copyright proprietor, and to provide written proof of such permission with your submission.
